Thursday August 10, 2006: Hyper-Interactive Teaching Technology (H-ITT), a leader in hand-held remote technology for the classroom, is now offering a version of their software for Intel based Mac computers.
H-ITT software can now be run on Mac computers built on the Intel platform. Users can now take advantage of the performance enhancements found in Intel based Macs while running the H-ITT software. This increases the number of hardware platforms that the H-ITT software supports to four, including Windows, PowerPC Mac, Intel Mac, and Linux based computers.
H-ITT develops their software using C++ and the popular open-source wxWidgets (www.wxWidgets.org) C++ library. This library allows H-ITT's software development team to target multiple platforms from one code base. In addition, utilizing wxWidgets allows the applications to have the native look-and-feel of their respective operating systems.
